How to set BIOS to boot from CD/DVD?

Question: I forgot my Windows 7 password, so I bought Rekeysoft Windows Password Recovery to fix my problem. I burned the bootable Windows password reset CD successfully in my friend computer, but I failed to start computer from the disk. Could you tell me how to do this?

Setting BIOS is an extremely easy job. Insert the bootable Windows password reset CD in your computer, and then take steps listed as follows:

Step 1. Access BIOS

Start your computer, and then watch the screen for a message that will say “press xx to enter SETUP” (usually F2 or Delete, but varies with PC manufactures and BIOS providers) or something similar while booting. Press this key immediately when you see it to access the BIOS menu.

Step 2. Change BIOS order

Use arrow keys to choose Boot on the taskbar, and then select Boot Device Priority and press Enter. Next set CD ROM to the first boot device according to the prompts on the right.

Step 3. Save and exit

Press F10 to save and exit BIOS. You computer will restart with the changed BIOS settings. Here you’ll see Rekeysoft Windows Password Unlocker under WinPE and you can start to reset your lost Windows 7 password.

Tip: If your BIOS is different as the one in the tutorial, you can refer to your PC instruction book, or search it on the internet, or contact us with the picture or list of boot tab.
